I know this necklace looks simple. Honestly, most people would probably never give it a second glance.
But this necklace tells our story:
→ The four pearls represent our four embryos.
→ The blue crystal represents our son.
→ The clear crystals represent the babies we lost through early miscarriage.
To most people, it's just jewelry. But to us, it's years of prayers, doctor's appointments, medications, waiting rooms, phone calls, heartbreak, hope, and faith.
It's the babies we dreamed about before we ever held them. It's the babies we carry in our hearts while we wait for the baby we pray to bring home.
When I was designing this piece, I kept thinking about Hannah's story and the simple verse that has carried so many women through seasons of waiting:
"The LORD remembered her." — 1 Samuel 1:19
Because infertility can make you feel forgotten.
Forgotten by your own body.
Forgotten by time.
Forgotten when everyone else seems to be moving forward.
But God remembers.
He remembers every prayer you've whispered.
Every tear you've cried.
Every baby you've loved.
I designed this necklace was created for women like us: Women whose motherhood stories began long before a positive pregnancy test. Women who know that even the smallest lives leave the biggest footprints.
This is our story.
