Zephaniah 3:17

“The Lord your God is among you, a warrior who saves you. He will rejoice over you with gladness. He will be quiet in his love. He will be quiet in His love. He will delight in you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17

Let me tell you something that still gets me every time I read it:
God sings over me. Over you.

Not just tolerates us. Not just watches over us.
Sings. Like a mama humming over her baby. Like a Father overflowing with joy just because you're His.

Zephaniah 3:17 says the Lord is with you. He’s a Mighty Warrior who comes to save — strong, steady, and ready to fight for you. But He’s also tender. Gentle. Delighting in you.

Not for what you do. Not for how “put together” you are.
Just because you're His.

That’s the kind of love this world can’t offer.
It’s the kind that calms anxiety, softens shame, and reminds us we don’t have to hustle to be held.

So if you’re feeling unseen, unworthy, or worn out today…
Take a moment.
Close your eyes.
And picture the God of the universe — singing over you. Rejoicing in you.
Right there in your mess, in your middle, in your everyday.

You are loved more deeply than you know.
And you’re never alone.
