A Change of Heart
We did something big recently. We sold our business.
A business my Mother-in-Love worked hard to build.
One we poured our time, energy, creativity, and prayers into. Something that once felt like my calling — a dream come true.
But then something shifted.
It didn’t happen all at once… just a quiet stirring in my spirit.
God started changing my heart.
I felt like He was reminding me that I needed o slow down and make room for new life — in every sense of the word. Y’all know our story of grief and loss.
And let me tell you… walking away from something I once loved wasn’t easy.
There were tears.
Doubts.
The voice in my head saying, “What if you regret this?” or “What will people think?”
But there was also peace.
Not loud or flashy — just that deep, quiet peace that only comes when you’re walking in step with the Lord, even if the steps don’t make sense to anyone else.
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens…”
— Ecclesiastes 3:1
This new season is slower. Softer. A little scary, if I’m honest.
But it’s also sacred.
Because I’m trusting that if God gave me the desire for motherhood, He’s also writing the story in His perfect timing.
And maybe this is the space He needed to create for that miracle to grow.
I’m not just trading work for rest — I’m trading hustle for hope.
Ambition for alignment.
A packed schedule for open hands.
And if you’re in a season where God is changing your heart too —
letting go of something good to make room for something better —
I just want to say: you’re not crazy, and you’re not alone.
Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is listen to the gentle nudge and follow where He leads.
Even if it means saying goodbye to a chapter you thought would last forever.
Because what comes next?
It just might be the most beautiful thing you’ve ever stepped into.
